The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office held town hall meetings for Districts 1 and 2, which were described as successful and enjoyable events.

Residents or employees in District 3 are invited to join Sheriff T.K. Waters, the #yourJSO District Commander, and staff to discuss specific topics related to their district.

The upcoming meeting for District 3 is scheduled for August 15, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel (10605 Deerwood Park Blvd.).

Attendees can expect updates on new patrol response boundaries, information on enhanced public safety initiatives, and the chance to connect with officers serving District 3.

For those unsure of their district, the JSO provides a "Find My District" page on their website to clarify patrol district locations.

The town hall meetings aim to foster connections between law enforcement and the community, with District 1 emphasizing the opportunity for citizens to engage and learn about programs such as Sheriff's Watch and meet their District Commander Assistant Chief Jimmy Ricks.
