A homicide investigation in Jacksonville, Florida, led to the arrest of Tyrone Tillman Golson, a 60-year-old Black male, for the murder of a child. The incident occurred on February 18, 2024, when patrol officers found an unresponsive child on Allison Street. The child was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead due to multiple blunt-force traumas and diphenhydramine toxicity, as determined by the Medical Examiner's Office. With the cooperation of various agencies, an arrest warrant was issued for Golson, who was already in jail for unrelated charges.
