Duval County Public Schools in Jacksonville, Florida recently honored the late AJ Laguerre Jr., a graduate of William M. Raines High School who had dreams of pursuing a degree in cybersecurity at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Laguerre Jr. tragically passed away before he could realize his aspirations. In tribute to his memory, THE PLAYERS Championship, PGA TOUR, and FSCJ have established a scholarship in his name to support students pursuing education in the IT field. This scholarship aims to provide opportunities for future students to follow in Laguerre Jr.'s footsteps and pursue a career in cybersecurity.
